Policy Update

Recent legislation has mandated modification and additions to Board of Education policies, plus follow-up written administrative procedures. Provision for these updates and procedures to be prepared is easily and economically accommodated by this service.

Every two years, a Special Education Plan must be developed and approved by every Board of Education. Annually, every district is required to submit a Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) proposal to the Special Education Training and Resource Center (SETRC). This application must be approved prior to applying for Special Education Entitlement Grants.

Rather than attempting to allocate costly administrative time for these intermittent reports, it might be more efficient for a school district to access this agency, which can provide the on-call expertise to complete these projects.
